One argument frequently used
by Zetatalk is that the science of man is simply
a theory. Along with the
conspiracy theory, Planet X supporters often claim
that the science that proves
that Planet X is impossible is just another theory
that could be wrong. My theory
is better than yours.
The truth is that most of the
silly things Zetatalk claims have been proven
wrong by experiment and long
term observation. We understand the forces
at work in our solar system
and in the movements of objects in space. We
have observed Planets, asteroids,
comets and their motions follow or laws
of motion.
We know that the sun does not
control the solar system with it's magnetic field.
In fact, the magnetic orientation
of the planets (those with a magnetic field) do
not align with the Sun's magnetic
field.
We know that gravity affects
the movements of objects moving through our
solar system. This has been
observed, as in the case of comet Shoemaker-
Levy 9 which had it's
orbit altered and crashed into Jupiter in 1994.
We know what the acceleration
of an object by the gravity of the Sun will be
from many observations over
a long period.
We know what the escape velocity
of the sun is and have sent space probes
beyond our solar system.
This is just another silly claim
to explain the very silly Zeta science. If you really
want to believe in the Zeta
Planet X, this is your way to do it. Just cover your
eyes, pretend that we don't
know anything about science and everything is a
theory.
