Another who jumped on the Planet
X bandwagon is Mark Hazlewood (son of Lee Hazlewood) with his book Blindsided.
Hazlewood was probably the most visible person pushing the Planet X in
2003 scenario during 2002 and is regarded by many as the most questionable
source for
Planet X information. He has
made a number of radio appearances (including a Jan. 16, 2002 appearance
on the Art Bell show) and spoken at several UFO conferences.

Hazlewood's book which was primarily conspiracy rants mixed with information plagiarized from the ZetaTalk website is now obsolete. Hazlewood claims he was fooled by Zetatalk which he claims is NASA disinformation and that Planet X will arrive soon.
It seems that Mr. Hazlewood's 15 minutes of fame are over.
While many people question the sanity of Nancy Lieder, it was the honesty of Mark Hazlewood that was often questioned. Hazlewood was previously a member of the Zetatalk E-groups and was banned for get rich quick schemes he tried there.
Hazlewood seems to have taken the majority of his information from Zetatalk including the May 2003 date. He claimed many different sources and years of research yet most of his sources are also on the Zetatalk website, usually in more detail.
Hazlewood knew that channeled information from aliens would not be believed by many, so he minimized the whole "Zeta" part of Planet X in 2003. He was right, by hiding the alien source of the information many believe him and not Zetatalk!
He even tried to make a deal
with Nancy offering to split the profits from his book if she would keep
him updated on information.
Nancy Lieder rejected his offer.

Nancy Lieder has obviously not
been happy about Hazlewood selling a book based on her Zetatalk Planet
X.

said "The only piece of original work that Hazlewood has done is to open
a bank account".

Hazlewood Re-Packages ZetaTalk
Looking back it is obvious that
Mr. Hazlewood created many "insider" sources that confirmed his claims.
From NASA insiders and observatory workers he claims wrote him confirming
Planet X in 2003 to a triple doctorate who supposed viewed Planet X, Hazlewood
was a constant source of questionable information.
Below are two articles on this topic from Mitch Battros.

Doomsday Sayer, Mark Hazelwood Accused Con-Artist
Hazlewood spent time in several
E-groups discussing Planet X late 2001 to early 2002, but quit them when
he couldn't answer many questions about Planet X and accusations of "government
disinformation agents" failed to stop the questions. To avoid these difficult
questions
he formed a group where only
he can post and he primarily rants about the conspiracy to keep his book
off the market and posts very suspect reports confirming his claims.
Two groups where many discussions
with Hazlewood took place.

Discuss E-group
Soon after Hazlewood left the
E-groups, one of his supporters, Sherwood Ensey, going by the name of Tuatha,
actually lied about the author of this website claiming he traced this
website to the government! Ensey was rewarded
by accompanying Hazlewood on a radio appearance
that week. Amazingly many people
believed him, convinced that government agents were the ones challenging
the wacky Planet X in 2003 scenario. Of course Sherwood Ensey ran from
the discussion group when his lies were exposed by many internet knowledgeable
group members. This is typical behavior for these people, making wild claims
that are untrue and then cowardly running from any confrontation when their
lies are exposed.
This site is on the 150m.com network which is a hosting service with 84,000 other personal pages (as of July 2002).
As 2002 has progressed, Mark Hazlewood has changed as well. While early in the year he told people "prepare or let your family die" and was absolutely sure about the May 2003 date, it has been disclosed that he has not prepared himself! Late in 2002 Mr. Hazlewood was still living in Florida.
And to any who actually followed
his warnings and relocated their families?
Oops...
Hazlewood who never seems to come up with anything original (except lies) now seems to be going with the theories of James McCanney. McCanney is the latest to jump on the Planet X bandwagon combining an old and disproved plasma comet theory with Planet X to sell a few books. Hazlewood now claims that Zetatalk is government "disinformation" and that Planet X is coming "soon".
Amazingly he is still selling
his book based on the Zetatalk "disinformation".
Anything for a few more dollars.

In a bizarre twist to this already bizarre story Mark Hazlewood has incorporated Planet X 2003 in the state of Florida.
In response to the incorporation being made public, Hazlewood's new lady friend, Cindy Preville posted this letter to Hazlewood's read only group.
Cindy Preville's response to incorporation.
She apparently is also president
of Planet X 2003 INC. a Florida for profit corporation. She claims that
this corporation is not being setup for tax purposes but for protection
from lawsuits. It is curious since lawsuits would not come about until
after the May 2003 passing of Planet X is shown to be false, so why would
they need protection? Because they know that nothing will
happen,
they will still be here and
are trying to insulate themselves to protect the money they have made playing
chicken little, scaring people and preaching doom.
Without legal experience I have to wonder if this incorporation will protect him from those lives he has damaged by his rantings. The revelation that Hazlewood never prepared himself while telling others to take drastic action will probably weigh against him in a legal action.
We can only hope that Mr. Hazlewood
gets what he deserves.

Cindy Preville, the new director of Planet X 2003 wrote a letter to what she calls "disinfo folks". She issued a challenge to post her letter on "disinfo" websites. I have replied to her and posted her letter and my response below.
